What differentiates you from a mainstream marketing agency?
Marketing agencies and I offer some overlapping services. But as a freelance copywriter and marking consultant, the level of attention I give you can’t be matched by large marketing agencies with dozens—even hundreds—of clients.
In other words, working with a big box marketing firm is like staying at a Sandals resort (which some people swear by). Do you write copy for all parts of the sales funnel?
Yes! I can write copy for your entire sales funnel. Top of funnel (TOFU), middle of funnel (MOFU), and bottom of funnel (BOFU). But which is my favorite part? MOFU and BOFU! I love creating conversational, storytelling email sequences to nurture your leads. I get fired up about the intensive deep-dive required to write sales pages that convert.
What’s the benefit of monthly copywriting retainers?
Before writing even one word for you, I listen and perform research. I get to know you, your brand identity, your marketing challenges, your sales goals, your competitors, your target audience, and more. This upfront due diligence helps me write copy that’s dialed in to your brand and aimed at accomplishing specific objectives.
The onboarding process is thorough, but I learn so much about my clients by working with them over a period of months or longer.
When we work together in a monthly retainer capacity instead of through sporadic, one-off projects, I become an expert on your brand and can help track progress and measures of effectiveness over time. This allows me to recommend strategic, tailored tweaks along the way.
Monthly retainers also streamline admin tasks and maximize our time (fewer invoices, emails, and project scope documents). Do you use AI to write copy?
I will never sell you AI-generated copy. I use AI tools strictly for research, outline creation, and idea generation. I’m also learning how AI can help me with my admin tasks so I can spend more time on the substance of my work—crafting your perfect copy. The words I use to write your copy are all my own. Can’t I just use ChatGPT to write my website, emails, or social media posts? Why should I hire a copywriter?

How come?
Humans know how to connect with other humans. Bots lack a soul, and therefore so does their copy. AI can produce good copy that technically “gets the job done.” But it won’t convert like human copy can.
Bot-written copy may even address human pain points, but it will fall short of connecting emotionally with your readers. And we all know that people buy emotions, not products. So for copy that’s creative, nuanced—reflective of the subtleties that make your brand unique—and converts, you’ll want to hire a copywriter.

Do you offer refunds?
I don’t offer refunds—I want you to love your copy!
That’s why my work includes professional editing (from an outside, independent editor) and two rounds of revisions.
Here’s how that revision process works:
After I send you the first draft of a deliverable, give it a thorough read. Compile your revision requests and send them to me within two weeks (you can do this over email, or we can schedule a call). As soon as I have your revision request, I’ll let you know how long it will take me to revise (usually just a couple of days to one week). After I return the second draft to you, we can go through the same process once more.
As the sole owner of my one-woman shop, I’m personally invested in my clients’ satisfaction and the quality of my work.
After all, my name is on the storefront.
I thoughtfully limit the number of projects I take on at any given time to ensure I uphold the highest standard of service.

How will we communicate during my copy project?
To preserve the premier quality of my copywriting and customer service, I limit myself to only a few client projects at a time. You will not be competing with hundreds of other clients for my attention.
Our communication methods and frequency will depend on your preferences and on the needs of the project. We can hold regularly scheduled check-ins over Zoom or GoogleMeet, or we can communicate by phone or email on an ad hoc basis.
Regardless of when and how, you’ll always interact with me directly—no middlemen like assistants, bots, or a revolving door of account managers.
